Client – you
Down Payments/Deposits
We require a down payment/deposit for 30% of the agreed price on all website projects. As soon as the initial payment is received work will commence.
Stages
We will keep you updated at every stage of the design and development process through either email, phone or online communication.
Stage 1 – Website Functionality
The first stage will involve us submitting the relevant documentation regarding the functionality of the website to the client. All documentation then needs to be approved by you before the design and development stage gets underway.
If any amendments or changes are made by you relating to the functionality after the initial approval has been made, additional costs above the agreed price may be incurred.
Stage 2 – Design
All website design concept work and layouts will also be submitted to you for approval either during or after stage 1 has been completed.
If any amendments or changes are made by you relating to the design after the approval has been made, additional costs above the agreed price may be incurred.
Stage 3 – Development
After both the documentation and design has been approved by you, we will attempt to build your website using these exact guidelines. If we decide or are required to make any alterations to these guidelines, we will only do so after consulting with you first.
Approvals
All approvals are required in writing. We accept written confirmation of these approvals by either email or fax. All faxes require a signature by the agreed representative of your company.
Completion
After we complete the project and your website is ready to go live, final approval is required within 5 working days after our submission to you. Any final changes or amendments that you require us to make in accordance with our documentation, needs to be sent to us within this time frame. Further costs above the agreed price may be incurred if this requirement is not met.
Completion Dates
All timescales given to our clients for the completion of a project are approximate and we may require extra time due to additional work or through circumstances beyond our control. We, at Cre8 New Media, will always aim to meet deadlines and finish within the assigned completion date.
Final Payment
The remaining 70% of the agreed quotation price and any additional costs incurred during the project must reach us within 14 working days after the final approval has been accepted by the client.
We accept both cheque’s, bank transfers and BACS payments. Details of any transfers or BACs payments must be confirmed with a reference number within these 14 working days.
Late Payment Fee and Suspended Services
If payment or payment confirmation is not received within 14 working days, we reserve the right to charge a late payment fee for 5% of the remaining balance to our clients. We also reserve the right to suspend your website/hosting account until payment has reached us in full.
Unpaid accounts
In the event of an account being unpaid for over 30 days of the final invoice date we reserve the right to pursue recovery of any outstanding debts by means of a collection agency.
Any extra charges incurred during the collection process will be added to the clients total bill including any additional administration charges.
By appointing Cre8 New Media to undertake a web design project, you are automatically bound by these terms.
